Mainland Great Britain Customers
All orders over the value of £500 are sent carriage free* via a 3 day delivery service via Palletways. An optional next working day delivery service is available at a charge of £10. The minimum order or back order value which we are able to despatch is £200**. Orders with a value between £200 and £499.99 will be charged a £20 delivery fee and your order will be shipped out using Palletways 3 working day service. An optional next working day delivery is available at an additional cost of £10. All orders are dispatched via Palletways as a trackable service. We aim to despatch all orders within 1 - 3 working days, alternatively you can request a specific day at checkout.
Offshore & Scottish Highland & Island Customers
Unfortunately most carriers add a surcharge for shipping to these destinations and therefore when we take your order we will not initially charge shipping or take payment for the order. We will however get the best quote we can and will contact you to confirm that value. Once shipping is agreed then we will take payment.
Hill Interiors can ship wholesale orders internationally. We can deliver to your chosen delivery address or forward to a freight forwarder in the United Kingdom, whichever you prefer. We are currently trading using the EXW or DAP incoterms and can provide packing lists and commercial invoices with the shipment. Under EXW terms you 'the buyer' will make all the shipping arrangements and be responsible for customs declarations. Under DAP terms we will export the goods and pay the export customs processing fees. You 'the buyer' will be responsible for import customs processing fees & duties in your country. We advise that you are registered for VAT, have an EORI number (If located in the EU) and ideally a deferment account. If you have VAT & EORI numbers these must be passed to us prior to shipping. Other countries outside the EU may provide UID's that we will need to provide on the paperwork.
If you place the order online we do not add shipping at checkout as we will need to calculate and quote you shipping before the order is confirmed. We use a number of pallet services and fast parcel delivery services to get products to you as quickly as possible so we can handle orders of any size.
Please note that we are currently unable to ship dropship orders to the EU. This is because we are unable to make customs declarations on your behalf. We are looking at solutions for this so that we can resume dropshipping to overseas locations as soon as possible.
Hill Interiors will use a network of fast parcel delivery companies to get the goods to your customer quickly. Where possible we will despatch the goods and a tracking number will be provided on our despatch note document. We will not send the desaptch note or any paperwork to your customer however they will receive tracking details if you have supplied their details. Most deliveries will be next day. Depending on the size of the product we may have to restrict shipping some dropship items to Mainland Great Britain only. For more dropship information see our Drop Shipping page.
Post Brexit shipping times have taken a little longer due to customs processing however we are seeing these steady a little as shippers and customers adapt. Current approximate timescales are:
Europe 2-5 working days
North America/Asia/Africa/Australasia 4-10 working days.
*Carriage Free is for mainland Great Britain only, offshore and international customers will be charged the carrier's standard rates.
** Please note our minimum order value is £500 for your first order with Hill Interiors, thereafter it will reduce to £200. Dropship orders are treated separately, with no minimum order amount however handling fees are applied based on the product price. All orders are exclusive of VAT
