Playful In Pink
We've hopped on the Barbie wave and surfed our way to the Dreamhouse. For August's recipe, it only felt right to create a bright and bold bouquet with pink at its heart. The world is being painted pink with Barbiecore taking over our screens, fashion and now interiors. Pantone saw it coming, naming their colour of the year "Viva Magenta". Did you?!
The ingredients:
3 x Shabby Pink Single Hydrangea (21063)
3 x Dusty Pink Dahlia Stem (22195)
3 x Pink Cream Tea Rose (20533)
1 x Tall Mock Orange Spray (22625)
1 x Long Fennel Stem (22611)
1 x Bloomville Vase (20723)
The method:
Begin by choosing three different stems, think about what you'd like to be the focal point of your arrangement. We decided on the Long Fennel Stem, Dusty Pink Dahlia and Tea Rose. Cut the Mock Orange to create smaller sprigs, they can be for later use to fill any gaps you may have.
Continue adding your blooms, spacing out the different flower species so it creates balance. Once the arrangement is finished, tease and bend your stems to make it looks even more realistic.
